Dr David Guile is Professor in Education and Work and Co-Director of the Centre for Engineering and the Post 14 Centre for Education and Work, UCL – Institute of Education. David specialises in vocational, professional and workplace learning, and has undertaken research on different aspects of these issues, for among others, the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Gatsby Foundation and London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Commercial Education Trust (CET).
Currently, he is researching the implications of Artificial Intelligence for work and skill in the second half of the 21st century.
He became an Honorary Fellow of the CET in 2021.
