Intergenerational Music Making is a national not-for-profit organisation which brings people of all ages together. Through the magical power of music they reduce loneliness, boost wellbeing and create stronger communities.
“We are thrilled to be supported by the CET Small Grants programme. Through this funding, Intergenerational Music Making will deliver Intergenerational Pathways: Skills for a Connected Future, a dynamic 12-month initiative designed to equip 90 young people from Hackney and Harpurhey with the tools, confidence, and intergenerational support to thrive in today’s workforce. By uniting generations through mentorship, hands-on training, and community-led projects, we’re not only tackling youth unemployment but also building stronger, more inclusive communities.
